# How to Fix Window/Display Capture Failure

If Window/Display Capture fails in the PRISM PC app, check the error message in the preview area and follow the steps below.

### **1. Invalid Window/Display Handle**

The selected window is closed or disconnected.\
Please make sure the program you want to capture is running.

If the window has been closed or the display is disconnected, capture may fail.

**Solution:**

1. Make sure the program you want to capture is currently running.

### **2. Window Not Visible**

**Error Message**

The window is minimized, so it cannot be captured.\
Please reopen and activate the window.

If the window is minimized, it cannot be captured.

**Solution:**

1. Restore the window and activate it.

### **3. Unknown Error**

An issue occurred while capturing the window.\
Please reselect the window or try again shortly.

Capture may fail due to an unknown error.

**Solution:**

1. Re-select the window or try again after a moment.
