# How to Fix YouTube Streaming Permission Errors

Error Message: You cannot live stream on YouTube because streaming permissions haven’t been enabled. Some permissions may take up to 24 hours to activate after application or verification. Broadcasters must verify the permission status of each platform before starting a stream. Errors 28005 and 28006 occurs when YouTube streaming permissions are not enabled or when the account is in a waiting period after verification. This guide explains how to check your feature eligibility settings in YouTube Studio to resolve this issue.

#### Cause

This error is triggered when the linked YouTube account does not have live streaming permissions or the permissions have recently been requested and are still being processed.

#### Solutions:

1. **Check YouTube Feature Eligibility**: Access YouTube Studio and navigate to **Settings > Channel > Feature eligibility**.&#x20;
