# Setting Decode Option

You can select a **Hardware** or **Software** decoding method in Settings.

By default, the software decoding method is selected, but if you want to improve performance, it is recommended to select the hardware decoding method.

Please note that depending on the user environment, app stability may decrease when the hardware decoding method is selected.
