# Adding Camera Movement to Your 3D VTuber

## Adding Camera Movement to Your 3D VTuber

### Make your VTuber stream more cinematic

Give your 3D VTuber stream a livelier, more cinematic feel with **Camera Movement**. Instead of a still camera, PRISM can slowly circle, follow, or glide toward your VTuber — adding motion and depth that keeps viewers engaged.

> **Available for**: 3D VTubers (Android 5.3.0 · iOS 3.12.0 or later). It does not appear in 2D mode.

### Where to find it

In **VTuber mode**, open your **3D VTuber**'s effects and go to the **Camera shot** tab. The camera movement options appear in that list.

> The effects panel has four tabs — emotion, motion, pose, and camera shot. Camera Movement lives under **camera shot**.

### The camera movements

The lineup may change as the feature evolves, but it includes movements such as:

* **Orbit** — the camera slowly circles around your VTuber, showing it from ever-changing angles.
* **Tracking** — the camera moves alongside your VTuber, keeping it steady in the frame.
* **Dolly in / out** — the camera glides closer for a more intimate look, or pulls back to reveal more of the scene.

### How to use it

1. Tap a movement to start it. It plays on a **loop** and keeps going until you turn it off.
2. **Tap the same movement again** to stop it. The camera stays right where it is — it doesn't snap back to the front.
3. **Tap a different movement** to switch instantly.

You can take over anytime with touch gestures (pinch to zoom, drag to move), and the camera responds to your hand right away.

### Good to know

* Camera Movement works **together with** your VTuber's emotion, motion, and pose — they don't interfere with one another.
* During a live stream it appears **exactly as your viewers see it**, and you can change it freely while live.
* Your choice is kept when you reopen the effects list, visit settings, or rotate the screen. It turns off when you switch between 2D and 3D, leave VTuber mode, enter Connect mode, end your live, or restart the app.
* If a movement can't play for some reason, the camera holds its position and a short message appears — just try again in a moment.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://guide.prismlive.com/mobile/guides/vtuber/adding-camera-movement-to-your-3d-vtuber.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
