Getting Started with PRISM Lens
PRISM Lens is an app that allows you to enhance your webcam feed with various features such as virtual backgrounds, face retouch effects, and mobile camera integration.
You can add PRISM Lens as a source in PRISM Desktop and also use it as a camera device in other live-streaming and video-conferencing programs like Zoom.
Download the PRISM Lens app and follow the basic instructions below to get started.
Understanding the Main Screen
Take a look at the layout and basic features of the main screen first.

Connecting and Configuring Your Camera

Connecting a Camera Device
Connect the camera device you intend to use.
You can check the currently available devices from the list of camera devices at the top-right corner of the main screen and assign the desired device to each PRISM Lens tab.
You can also use your smartphone camera as a webcam by linking the PRISM Mobile app.

Configuring Camera Settings
Click the [Camera Settings] button to the right of the camera device list to adjust detailed settings for the selected camera.

Resolution: A list of supported resolutions for the selected camera will be displayed. The resolution determines the clarity of the video, so select a level that suits your usage environment.
FPS (Frames Per Second): A list of supported FPS options will be displayed; higher FPS provides smoother and higher-quality video.
Video Format: Displays the formats supported by your camera, which may vary depending on the output resolution.
What are PRISM Lens 1, 2, and 3?
PRISM Lens 1, 2, and 3 are independent virtual cameras.
When PRISM Lens is installed, three virtual cameras are automatically registered and can be used simultaneously across multiple applications. Each lens can be individually configured with settings such as Output Resolution, Device Selection, and Filter Application.

Turning PRISM Lens On/Off
Use the On/Off switch at the bottom to toggle the output status of each lens.

Configuring Output Settings
Click the Settings icon at the bottom left or right of the screen, and then go to the [Output Settings] menu to configure each Lens’s output settings individually.

Output Resolution Settings: Set the resolution to be applied to each Lens. The selected resolution will be reflected in both the preview and actual output.
Quality Settings: You can set the quality of the virtual background. Higher quality enhances the natural appearance of the video.
Decoding Setting: You can choose the decoding method as either software or hardware.
